Tony, one of Mr. Antenna’s local antenna installers in Adelaide, went to complete a new antenna installation in Pennington. The customer had found the perfect location to buy a new home for themselves and it happened to be in the lovely neighborhood of Pennington. It was a beautiful home that was a new build brick-veneer with a color bond roof.

Installation

The standard digital antenna installation in the home consisted of a roof-fixed antenna, a tin-roof bracket, RG6Q coaxial cabling, and an F-type splitter to hook up the pre-wired cables. The new antenna was fitted on the tin roof mount and secured with extra-large galvanized roof screws through the existing screw holes. Tony also added some silicone sealant for more secure placement. There was a policy of “no extra roof penetrations wherever possible”. So, Tony slipped the RG6Q cable up under the ridge capping and into the roof space. This requires no holes made, so no possibility of leaks; giving total peace of mind to the customer.

After everything was perfectly set up inside the roof space, Tony terminated those pre-wired cables with quality F-connectors. In addition, he hooked up the antenna using a 4-way F-type splitter. Then, after completing the setup, it was a simple matter of physically checking everything. It was eye-candy for Tony and the customer to see great pixel-free and high-definition images.

Also, the customer was super happy. Talk about quality of work and efficiency in one! Tony had left plenty of time for the happy customer to get on with their busy morning uninterrupted.
