Installation of a new TV antenna

For people who have just settled in their new homes, there is nothing like sitting back and relaxing in front of the TV. It is such a good way to exhale bad vibes and simply enjoy the peace and comfort of home.

Just a few weeks ago, a customer from Warrandyte requested an on-site technician visit because he wanted to install a new TV antenna and at the same time, wall-mount his newly-bought Samsung flat screen.

John, one of Mr. Antenna’s most trusted TV antenna professionals in Warrandyte, installed a new MA612V-5 Australian-made antenna on the existing fascia mount. This is a heavy-duty antenna that comes with a 5-year warranty. The antenna required a new cable to run into the roof space.

Firstly he connected a new 2-way splitter and the antenna externally to the lower roof and then through the cathedral ceiling. Also, he routed it down the external wall to a new point and had another cable run out of the splitter through the roof space to down under the house, through the external wall cavity. Then he connected it to an existing cabling and a new F-type fitting wall plate in the kitchen area.

There was also a new masthead amplifier and power supply installed on the new antenna system. The setting up of the power supply marked the completion of the installation. He also relocated it to a different spot on the roof.

Since the customer wanted to watch TV comfortably, he also requested a TV wall-mounting job be completed. So Mr. Antenna supplied a heavy-duty swivel bracket, HDMI cables, media wall plates, antenna cable, and an extension cord. The technician mounted the smart TV on a brick wall and all the cables were concealed via the external wall cavity.
