TV Reception Issues Caused By New Phone Tower

Some people have a certain misconception that all signals are the same. This is far from the truth. 4G and 5G signals from mobile towers can, in fact, cause severe reception issues in your TV.

An elderly customer from Glen Alpine, Victoria gave us a call as he was experiencing some severe reception issues with his TV. This started occurring after a new mobile phone tower had been installed less than 500m away from his house.

After upgrading the Masthead Amplifier to one which also has a built-in 4/5G filter, our customer’s TV reception was perfect on all channels. He can now get back to enjoying his favourite racing channel.
