Log Periodic TV Antenna Installation in Ottoway, South Australia
Mr Antenna technician Tony was called out for a TV Antenna Installation in Ottoway South Australia, this morning.
The customer had a new build house in a new housing subdivision located in the suburb of Ottoway. Tony installed a log-periodic TV antenna in Ottoway a suburb of Adelaide, made by local Australian antenna manufacturers Matchmaster.
Our technician installed the antenna using a metal-roof bracket. Cabling was completed using RG6 quad shield coaxial cable, and connected inside the roof space to a couple of prewired Free-To-Air wall outlets using a 2-way F-type splitter.
To complete the job, the customer’s FTA outlets were checked with a signal strength meter. The signal level was a very respectable 77db microvolts, with exceptionally good MER, (Modulation Error Ratio) BER (Bit Error Ratio), and carrier to noise figures.
To finish up Tony tuned and checked the Customer’s living room TV.
Once the work was finished and we completed a walk through of what was done—we had one very happy customer.
Yet another another quality Digital Antenna installation by Mr. Antenna.
