TV reception problems due to weather
The weather can be such an inconvenience at times, can’t it? TV reception is affected even if it can be forecasted. And this is not under our control. A lot of reception issues are caused in different states and suburbs by strong winds or heavy rains. Now, take this customer’s experience in Greenwith.
Customers in Greenwith called Mr. Antenna and informed us that they were having problems with their reception during wet and windy weather. We sent Tony, one of our TV antenna professionals in Greenwith, to check out what was going on. A quick reception check showed that the antenna signal was very poor. It was because of the antenna being mounted inside the tile roof around twenty years ago.
Feeling old yet?
Firstly, we replaced the old analogue antenna with a new Matchmaster Digital antenna. Mounting the antenna inside the roof was the main preference. Also, the antenna was not to be overshadowed by the two-story building next door. So Tony relocated the antenna. He installed some new cabling and a new two-way splitter, hooked up the existing outlets, and performed a signal check at the wall plates, which gave us a perfect digital signal level of 65 dBuV. Finally, the TV was tuned to ensure that all the channels were tuned and were in high definition.
“We picked an excellent company to help us. Thanks, Mr. Antenna.” said the customer.
