Installing an Antenna on a Chimney Bracket in Kingsbury
Installing an antenna is one of the most common tasks we at Mr. Antenna are faced with. Sometimes our jobs usually do come along with a twist. One of the twists is having to fix an antenna that’s on a chimney bracket. At times like this, it makes our techs really feel like they’re Santa Claus and are climbing down for some milk and cookies.
One of our Kingsbury technicians, John received a call to replace an old broken analog antenna. He went down to the site and quickly started to inspect. After taking into consideration the location he suggested installing a new MA612V-5 Australian made antenna onto the existing chimney bracket.
Our Antenna technician John also ran a new RG6 quad shield coaxial cable into the roof space. He connected it into the existing cabling via a new 2 way F-type splitter. The main TV in the lounge room, as a result, connected directly to the tv and into Foxtel.
After setting up the connection, John tested the signal quality again. The meter showed levels above the desirable mark. As a result, the connection was placed really nicely.
The customer now has perfect Digital TV reception and Foxtel channels all through the one Foxtel box. In addition to perfect quality, an overjoyed look on our customers is also a priority item for us.
