Immediate Antenna Inspection Required By VIC Resident

A customer called Mr Antenna for a job today as they were having TV reception issues in Malvern East. They called us hoping for an immediate antenna inspection and solution.

Danny, Mr Antenna’s TV expert, checked the TV signals and discovered that the signals were extremely low. He then continued the investigation up to the roof where he found that the TV antenna balun had been collecting water that was travelling down the cable and into the roof. It reached the splitter inside the roof and corroded the connections of the splitter.

Danny suggested the TV antenna was due for an upgrade. The customer was more than happy to proceed with the installation. Danny installed a VHF premium TV antenna with a lifetime warranty along with a masthead amplifier to increase the TV signal strength. He also replaced the lead-in cable with a quad shield cable on the splitter. The customer wanted access to free-to-air channels, so we installed a splitter to split the TV signal to the TV and Foxtel.

The customer was very impressed with how the job turned out!
