Installing An Extra TV Outlet Takes An Antique Turn

Installing an antenna or an extra TV outlet has become regular to us. At times although, we come across an interesting situation that makes the task much more enjoyable. Recently, a peculiar case came across to us that left us more curious than wondering.

Mr Antenna discovered a hoard of old milk bottles while installing an extra TV outlet for one of our customers in Brighton, Victoria. You don’t come across these babies every day.

We had to run some RG6 quad shield cabling and installed a Matchmaster 2 way splitter. The bottles read as follows “MILK M.B.R. This bottle is the property of MILK BOTTLES RECOVERY LTD 18, Market Street, Melbourne. It can only be used with written permission and can not be sold. ONE IMPERIAL PINT.” The bottles were a pretty cool find and made it worth crawling under the damp house, getting muddy and covered in cob.

In this case, the customer’s TV reception was fixed in Brighton and allowed our Antenna technician to clean up the bottles for his collection of odd bits in his man cave. This curious case of the outlet installation left us mesmerised. It also gave us a lot to talk about with the other members of our wide team.
