Pixelation and No Signal in Mount Martha

Wayne, a resident of Mount Martha called Mr Antenna on behalf of his son. He contacted us so that we could check the problem of pixelation and no signal that occurred on his TV.

His son had two attempts at setting up the antenna and couldn’t get it to work. This was understandable as some areas in Mount Martha can be problematic for TV reception as noticed due to other such cases. The solution to this problem required the correct tools and experience which Mr. Antenna has to offer.

The antenna wasn’t up to the task based on a quality and signal strength check. Along with that, the position of the antenna on the roof was also a problem. After discussing the situation with Wayne, the decision was made to move and change to an Australian made digital VHF antenna. These antennas come with a built-in 4/5g filter to stop unwanted 4G and 5G data signals.

Our field strength meter shown below in the image is a must for installing any antenna. With its assistance, we were able to find the optimum position on the roof. It was a job well done since the meter now shows zero errors.

After completion of the set up Wayne was greatly appreciative of the quality and crispness of the picture on his new LED TV. He was very glad to know that the days of pixelation and no signal were now behind him.
