TV reception problem in Stirling

Mr. Antenna was called to help a customer in Stirling who was having a severe and repetitive TV reception problem.

After he moved into the neighborhood three months ago, the TV reception started pixelating and flickered on and off.

One of our local TV antenna heroes in Stirling, James, went to see how he could resolve the problem. Upon a quick inspection, he found out that the antenna was placed in a bad location. A four-storied house just beside it shadowed the antenna. Although an old amplifier was installed, but it didn’t do its job properly. Firstly, James removed the old antenna and amplifier and installed a new Matchmaster UHF digital antenna.

He placed the antenna in a different location and connected it to a new Masthead amplifier with a built-in 4G/5G filter. Hence, this ensured that no rogue signals interfered with the TV reception. Also, the technician installed a new RG6 quad shield cable from the amplifier to the new 2-way splitter. As a result, it balanced out the signal distribution in the house since they have two TVs.

The improvement in their reception surprised the customer since unlike before, they were able to view free-to-air channels now. We called to check on the reception three days after and they said everything worked perfectly.
