Like every task we carry out, the technician first carried out the routine inspection to assess the problem and the solution. To receive approval, Tony explained the plan of action to the client. The client seemed convinced of the plan and quickly agreed to it.
Tony installed a good quality antenna made by local Australian manufacturers Matchmaster. He mounted it to the existing chimney bracket after Tony assessed this hardware. He found it in brilliant shape, with no need for a replacement. (Saved Phillip some extra money on his install price).
Cabled with RG6Q coaxial and hooked up inside the roof space to four existing FTA outlets with a new 4-way, F-type splitter. The customer’s FTA outlets were checked with a signal strength meter. The signal level was 70db microvolts, with exceptionally good MER, BER, and carrier to noise figures.
To finish up Tony tuned and checked the Customer’s living room TV and Fetch Box. Phillip was very happy with our quick service and sticking to the scheduled appointment even in bad weather. Another quality Digital Antenna installation by Mr Antenna, Prospect.
